Bio:

Born the second son of [FATHER] and [MOTHER] Kurokami; Shinji had a love of pokemon since he was small. Born in Flora Village, mere steps from the Safari Zone where his parents researched it’s inhabitants, allowed Shinji the opportunity to study pokemon. From the time he could walk he would occasionally accompany his parents on treks into the Safari Zone…allowed to watch from a safe distance of course under the attentive eye of [SAFARI ZONE WARDEN] the Safari Zone Warden. As much as Shinji loved the experience; his brother [BROTHER] disdained it. He believes the only good pokemon…is a strong pokemon used as tools of battle.

These tools were the weapons used in the murder of [FATHER] and [MOTHER]; the murderer-fate. One day when Shinji was 6 years old, during a routine trek into the safari zone; his parents were mauled to death by rampaging [MAULING POKEMON]. The Warden unleashed a few warning shots into the air as the party decended on the rampaging pokemon…but it was too late. Death claimed their lives that day.Shinji and [BROTHER] moved to Kona Village to live with their paternal grandfather [GRAMPS]. [GRAMPS], an ex pokemon champion, instilled good qualities of raising pokemon to be their best into Shinji.

One day; a wild murkrow perched onto the bottom bunk, Shinji’s bunk, and stared at him until he finally fell asleep. That night his dreams were haunted by the eyes of the devil bird that plagued him right before; stareing at him from every angle. Unfortunately for Shinji, [BROTHER] asked [GRAMPS] if he could keep the Murkrow…and he was told yes. This Murkrow would eventually become the pokemon [BROTHER] would set off on his own journey with. Shinji, since, has had a similar nightmare most nights, though over time he has ‘made’ friends with the spectars who plagued his sleep. The ghost pokemon who ran rapid in his dreams…became his nocturnal protectors from the eyes that haunted him. Shinji someday dreams of meeting the real Jack (Chandelure), Philip (Dusknoir), Daria (Jellicent), Yuki (FROSLASS), Juan (GOLURK), and Ted (Gengar).

Today is the start of his journey; at the age of 15 and 5 months behind his brother. Maybe today will be the day meets the first of many of his night time friends…maybe tomorrow will be the chance to protect them like they had protected him. Only time will tell…
