Rin was always… slightly off. A tiny gesture here, or a misplaced word there, she regardless always seemed to do something that made no sense to the people around her. Surprisingly enough this did not create any problems for her in the tiny village she was born and raised in, people just accepting whatever weird quirk she would develop or ignoring it all-together. Still though one could not say she had ever truly connected to any human in her village, or truly, any human at all. To Rin, this suited her just fine, she really didn’t bother to understand the weird ways humans thought and they didn’t bother trying to understand what she did. Time passed and as it did she instead build connection to other type of living things in the vicinity: pokemon; a weird empathy to them only growing stronger as time kept passing as it always does.
Yet, even if some sort of companion ship WAS present… something was still missing. What though… she had no idea. That feeling, the feeling of that “something” missing, one day, grew too uncomfortable to bear. So far she had always seemed to get along better with pokemon than humans, so…. it was certainly pokemons that would help her find this “ting” was it not? But unfortunately, none of the ones near the village could point her in the right direction, so she just packed her belongings (not much), left a note behind for anyone interested (it wasn’t even directly addressed to anyone), picked a random city and decided to start her journey there (she went in the complete opposite direction).
